Introducing Math Competitions
A+ Academy will be hosting a webinar to help families understand more about math competitions. We will be walking through the different types of math competitions held each year for elementary to high school students, as well as the specific paths a student gifted in math can pursue.
We noticed the exceptional ability of our A+ students in math, and would like to better inform families what opportunities might be available to those who are interested in or passionate about math.

Towards this effort, A+ Academy will be hosting the following competitions in 2026:
AMC 8 Math Competition:
Open to all students in grade 8 or below
Exam will be held on Sunday January 25th at 2pm
Location: A+ Academy @ 6802 8th Ave Brooklyn NY 11220
AMC 8 is a 40 minute 25 question multiple choice math competition and a great entry way into the math competition world

A+ Academy will be providing a free practice session for all registered students
Math Kangaroo Competition:
For students grades 1-12
Exam will be held on Thursday, March 19th, 2026 from 4pm - 5:15pm
